What are they teaching our kids? When I saw this story, I began questioning what teachers are teaching the kids at Tarrant County College. Many of the students protested the deportation of a fellow student due to immigration violations. I do not understand the protest, in my mind a party would be in order in that the government is actually doing its job and enforcing immigration.Students Protest Deportation . In these days with all the attention on immigration and its enforcement, any suggestion that immigration laws be enforced are met with allegations of hate crimes and cries of "Fascist!".
When I looked further into this situation, it seems to be teacher driven. The campus holds annual conferences on immigration. I suspect that much of the protest is teacher driven, and not a spontaneous display of emotion by the students. The most recent conference on immigration was sponsored by local businesses. Here is a list of sponsors and what they provided:

It is almost as if they students are receiving a pay-off for taking the correct PC stands on immigration issues. For a conference on immigration, I was wondering "where are the minutemen?" I doubt that they even considered inviting the minutemen to their party. What I can say is that you may wish to think twice about patronizing these sponsors if you are a person who wants to see immigration laws enforced.
They are clearly preaching the glories of unlimited immigration (e.g. colonization), and not the classics. The story of Manlius Torquatus is definitely not taught. The leader wished his son to obey his laws rather than seek glory. The manhood and respect of law that such figures represent are not valued by those advocating the open immigration agenda. Being that they probably don’t teach Torquatus, they definitely do not teach the story of King Saul and his son Johnathan. It grieves me that the sons and daughters of Texas are not being taught the importance of honor in dealing with the issues of the day.
Free Texas, Not Iraq!
