| The Southern National Congress Survey results are in. The results are listed below. What do the results mean? First, the number of respondents is limited, so the results can only be interpreted as applying to the group responding.
The results indicate that there are strong feelings that the Federal government has done little to help the immigration problem. The number of immigrants has also lead to some negative impact. The results suggests that Southrons view the immigration as more negative than positive. Among the negative impact are those impacting culture. The immigrants that are most problematic seem to be those who are not assimilating. With the non-assimilation, there are strains on services and increases in crime. The immigration both legal and illegal is impacting the people who responded to the survey. The opinions and reactions are strong. Had there been more respondents, the results could have been applied to South as a whole. Given the number of respondents, the results can only be applied to the those individuals responding. The strength of the responses are something worth noting. The Southrons are not half-hearted concerning immigration issues. If the strength of the responses are any indication of the strength of feelings throughout the south. On another note, the head of the DHS has admitted that they cannot enforce the laws on the illegals.DHS head says they cannot enforce laws . He is speaking a majority of the truth on this one. I believe that if he wanted to enforce the laws and the DOJ was given the priority to enforce the law on criminal immigration, things would be different. If the military was allowed to engage the enemy without rules of engagement, the Iraq situation would be very different as well. These are cases where government has made the situation worse rather than improving it. YEAR OF THE SOUTH SURVEY Of the |
