Ain’t That Quaint!

It seems that all the questions about the legitimacy of John McCain’s birth were not in vain. McCain did see to it that the Senate ‘officially” recognized him as a natural citizen back in April with S. Res 511. If he had been a ‘ligit’ natural born citizen, such a procedure would not have been necessary. The interesting part is who co-sponsored the legislation. It seems that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were co-sponsors of the bill. It seems that the Senate club does manage to take care of each other. Ain’t it quaint how those Senators just take such wonderful care of each other? Knowing how the political game is played, it makes one wonder, what was the payoff for this ‘official’ recognition. Back in April, McCain was lost in the pack of GOP candidates. These kinds of political games reinforces George Wallace’s saying “There’s not a dime’s worth of difference between them (the Democrats and the party of Lincoln).”
