World War I is also known as the “Great War”, “The War to end all Wars” and the “Great War of Freedom”. Whatever title one uses, most historians agree that the system of alliances then in place contributed to the spread of the war over the globe. In the latest turn of events, Venezuela has recognized the independence of South Ossetia. The empire supports Georgia in cracking down on the secession of the autonomous region. Russiaa considers the support of Georgia an act of war. Belarus has also recognized independence of the nation. The situation is escalating quickly, as combat tends to do.The number of nations involved in growing. It is reminiscent of the line spoken in “Gettysburg” by Martin Sheen, who was playing the role of Robert E. Lee when he commented “Things will get out of hand.”
The regime has some further problems with the capture of six special equipped humvee’s the Russians managed to obtain communications equipment that is classified. The regime wants their vehicles back, unlike in Iraq where they are often destroyed or lost. These were not ordinary humvee’s.
This matter is a concern for Southron’s in that if the war continues escalating, it will be our sons and daughters that will be fighting. This is not a “just war” by any definition. The likelihood of forced servitude in such a conflict is possible. It becomes egregious in that the empire is supporting the repression of a people that declared their independence. The system of NATO alliances and agreements illustrate that lessons were not learned from “The War to end all Wars”. It is as if the tyrant Woodrow Wilson’s plans for a “League of Nations” lives on. Bear in mind that many considered Wilson mentally unstable. Even Sigmund Freud considered the tyrant Wilson unstable and questioned his decision-making.
