"W" is a Yankee, who moved to Texas. He is NOT a native Texan. It is the Yale-educated Yankee establishment that can not do the math. In terms of how many depressions we have to go through, before people learn, the answer is not readily apparent. The US went through a depression after the annexation of Texas, another after the War Between the States (under a Yankee), another under Roosevelt, and now we are in the midst of another economic crisis.
