The pot calling the kettle black

The usurper has spoken out concerning the bonuses on Wall Street. He correctly labeled the actions of giving bonuses as “irresponsible” and “shameful”. What becomes comical about his critique is the irony in it. In order to take the high ground on moral issues, one must adhere to high moral standards. Here he is condemning Wall Street bonuses, when Congress just gave themselves a pay raise as well. The hypocrisy really shines in consideration of how ACORN, which worked feverishly to elect the usurper, is due to receive between 3.3 and 5.1 billion dollars in the bailout. What is the difference between bonuses to bank executives and ACORN executives? Both cases are irresponsible giving of money as paybacks.

The hits just keep on coming with the stimulus package having millions set aside for birth control. It was only at the last minute the birth control funding measure was removed. The audacity of calling Wall Street irresponsible, when the government wants millions spent to pay for irresponsible behaviors?

The usurper also wants the tax cuts that had been given to expire, which defacto raises the taxes on the citzenry, while the empire wants the largest spending bill it has ever had in history. Just who is being irresponsible? Just who is shameful. In order to have shame, a person must have a conscience. They must have a moral foundation. With the usurper questioning what parts of the Bible to believe, what moral foundation or moral absolutes does his have to judge the actions of others by? Could this just be some posturing going on?

In Texas, there is the story of the Texas Ranger who said that “Nothing can stop a man in the right who keeps on coming”. In the case of the bailout and Wall Street, ‘who is in the right?’ Perhaps since I did not have a Harvard education, I can’t understand the subtle details of such matters.

Each day just keeps getting deeper and deeper into the quagmire.

Free Texas!
