Now they want us to feed them?

If someone told you ten years ago that there would be a paramilitary youth organization run by the federal government that required the youth to wear uniforms, perform manual labour, and be required to participate most of us would not believe it. Yet today, here it is. The E-Corps (stands for Environmental Corps).  The E-Corps is a branch of AmeriCorps  (The modern day CCC-Civilian Conservation Corps). [A lesson in word etiology: The term corps is a derivative of “corpse” and is used in referring to a body of military troops or a ‘dead’ body in old English. My guess is that the founders of Americorps and E-Corps never did their homework in order to realize the terms litteraly mean the “dead body of America” and the “dead body of environmental”. But, hey, why bother with actual intellectual effort, when you can just come up with something that ’sounds’ good ].

The CORPSe wear olive green uniforms (t-shirts and hardhats), sleep in tents and are “allowed” to go home on the weekends. The location where they stay has a designation as a “camp”.

I was stunned when I saw the write up in the local newspaper on how this E-Corps group is working nearby. The youth will also be going into local communities to ‘get to know them better’.  It is one thing if the boy scouts or some other group volunteers to help, but this one smacks of FDR’s work camps and his alphabet soup programs. It is always concerning when the empire is expanding its reach. The Hussein administration has managed to blend together volunteer work, federal control, spying and environmental work into one big project. It is also astounding how the local press praises the projects with little concern expressed over the “creeping expansion of the federal tentacles” into local affairs. The local press encourages people to meet the volunteers and bring food with them.

Since this is part of the stimulis package, the empire wants to restrict criticism of such actions as well. This essentially amounts to the local communities being infiltrated (by the “benevolent” volunteers) and people are not being allowed to express their criticism of such actions. What will happen when it is not longer the green shirts, but expands to groups like the “brown shirts”?

Throughout Texas and the South, you may want to be on the lookout for ‘green shirts’ infiltrating your towns and communities. They are coming. The press will encourage the locals to support their presence by offering a welcome and food. (Something strange about wanting to offer Southern hospitality to people who are infilatrating the culture).

Even the logo is reminiscent of Nazi work programs. The logo consists of a red gear with a symbol for a young person in the middle. The use of the gear logo was common with many Nazi programs.Nazi EmblemFritz Todt medalyouthworks.jpg

Examine the similarities between the logos and decide for yourself if the program is innocent. Although the youth are volunteering, the people running the program are familiar with the similarities.

What about Judge Sotomayor?

I have already been asked for my opinions on Judge Sotomayor. What I have seen so far is that the Hussein regime supports her, using the term ‘inspiring’. This is the same regime that jokes about people being audited by the IRS, believes the Constitution is 20 centuries old, and has visited 57 States. If a regime like that says she is inspiring, who are we to say otherwise, since by their own propaganda, they are smarter than the common people are.

Senator Spector (who sells out to the highest bidder) supports her. Senators Olympia Snow and Joe Lieberman also support her and speak highly of her. Words like ‘fair’ and ‘well-qualified’ are being used quite freqently. She is also supported by lawyers out of California.

Liberals view her as

1. Highly Qualified

2. She is a ‘trail blazer’ (editor-e.g. a loose canon)

3.  She supports the working class

4. She supports first amendment rights (ed. Unless you are a blogger expressing your opinion as in the Doninger v. Neihoff case where she opposed free speech).

5. She ’saved’ baseball (she sided with the unions against the owners)

6. She embodies the ‘American’ dream

…etc.

(ed.-What I do not see is how she has shown reasoned and sound judgment, whether or not she will abide by the Constitution, or whether she will apply the law in a color-blind manner)

What this tells me is that she is bad news. When people like Spector, Snow and Lieberman support her, I am already suspect. I have little use for judges who are deemed ‘fair’ and ‘well qualified’. Those terms are often used to confuse the public.

When it comes to law, issues should be approached cautiously. We want a nation that is ruled by law, not the opinions of radical judges. In order to make a good ruling, judges need to study the principles of law, and uncover the legal truths presented in the case.  Judges, by the nature of the material they consider must needs be conservative and well read in order to understand what is at stake in the cases presented before them. It is not a place for being ‘fair’. What is needed is ‘Justice’ and wisdom in discerning the issues. Consider how 60% of Sotomayor’s rulings have been overturned by the high court. Either the higher courts are out of touch or she is. If a judge had addressed the key issue of the case, the likelihood of being overturned must needs be small.

She is on record as supporting reverse descrimination, and being opposed to second amendment liberties. She is a member of La Raza (The Race) which is a group promoting one race’s agenda as its primary goal.  (A person can not get more racist that that. In fact, in her opinion in the Ricci case she did not have the courage to take the proper legal stand and strike down a civil rights law that was an obstacle, instead she took a position to save the civil rights law. In other words, she is a judicial hack who wants to preserve the policies and systems in place rather than seriously consider what is good law) . She is an activist judge who believes that judges should dictate policy. Many of the pro-life groups are also opposed to her nomination. She is not a good choice if you want rule of law. Her selection is a clear indication of the values and direction of the Hussein regime.

PS-As typical of the propaganda machine, as more documentation comes out, Judge Sotomayor is NOT the brightest and the best. Her scores on standardized testing were below the levels normally associated with admission to college and law school. She refers to them as “sub par”.  So once again the mainstream media and MoveOn.org have lied and misled the people about the qualifications of Judge Sotomayor.

PS. SCOTUS has overruled a Sotomayor opinion.  As the investigation of her continues, 300 more boxes of her writings have appeared which gives the Senate more to work with.

A lack of common sense

The lack of common (horse) sense is astounding. The lack of raising that is given to children is inconceivable. In the latest episode, an ‘expert’ (Peter Cumming) at York University in Toronto claims that sexting is as safe as spin the bottle. (Sexting is when youths send pictures of their genitalia to peers on their cell phones). The research implies that child porno is not porno when it is sent to peers. It also implies that innapropriate behavior is considered acceptable in his mind. When I was growing up, it was common sense to not even show your underwear, much less you privates. Common sense says sexting is a pervereted way of showing off. Such behavior is unacceptable unless you are needing to show some kind of malformity to a physician for their opinion on a medical matter. I do not suspect that this children are showing pictures of themselves for medical matters.

So who is Peter Cumming? With a little research on Peter Cumming, the picture is even more twisted. He is an actor by vocation, who writes children’s books. He has a degree in education as well. It would behoove Southrons to investigate these so-called ‘experts’ beforegoing along with what they say. Does an actor know what is best for your children? Just becasue he has had some books published, does that mean he knows best on how to raise your kids? Even when they are educated, it does not mean that they have any common sense. The teachings from your grandpappy and granny will often stead you better than rasing your children according to today’s modern “experts” who do nothing more than justify wickedness. Make no mistake, the values of the South and Texas are under attack. Some of these attacks come openly, and some, like vile snakes attempt to sneak in.

They want to raise your taxes

CONgress critters Gene Green and Charles A. Gonzales have voted for HR 2454, which is the cap and trade carbon tax. This tax will increase the amount you pay for electricity, fuel and most anything that uses energy. Although the Hussein regime promised NOT to raise taxes, they are doing so AGAIN. If you live in Gene Green’s 29th district of Pasadena or Charles A. Gonzales of the 20th Congressional District in the San Antonio areas, you will want to let them know what you think of their sell out. Later in the year, when such carbon taxes go into effect and you are taxed even further, REMEMBER what your CONgress Critter did to you.

Given Gene Green’s district has some large chemical plants, it seems that he is not putting his constituency first.

When will you citizens of Pasadena and San Antonio get tired of such hired help and fire them? Are these the views that you support? Do these men represent you and your families best interests? Remember these were two of those who ridiculed Governor Perry when he stated that Texas is tired of being told what to do by the Feds.

The 2 June Hypocricy Parade

On 2 June, 2009, protesters are planning to meet and protest the 200th execution under Governor Perry. Perry is being pictured as being evil by having the most executions as Governor. I guess they forgot that the tyrant Lincoln ordered 303 Indians to be hung in a mass execution at Mankato, Minnesota. The title for the most oppressive government official goes to Abraham Lincoln. Governor Perry does not come close. In Perry’s case, the men were killers. Although many groups protest capitol punishment, it is odd that they make it sound like America is the only place this happens. There is even a network (Texas Moratorium Network) that has organized to protest the executions of bloodthirsty criminals.

In order to keep out bearings, let us examine which nations have capitol punishment:

  • Afghanistan
  • Antigua and Barbuda
  • Bahamas
  • Bahrain
  • Bangladesh
  • Barbados
  • Belarus
  • Belize
  • Botswana
  • Burundi
  • Cameroon
  • Chad
  • China (People’s Republic)
  • Comoros
  • Congo (Democratic Republic)
  • Cuba
  • Dominica
  • Egypt
  • Equatorial Guinea
  • Eritrea
  • Ethiopia
  • Gabon
  • Ghana
  • Guatemala
  • Guinea
  • Guyana
  • India
  • Indonesia
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Jamaica
  • Japan
  • Jordan
  • Korea, North
  • Korea, South
  • Kuwait
  • Laos
  • Lebanon
  • Lesotho
  • Libya
  • Malawi
  • Malaysia
  • Mongolia
  • Nigeria
  • Oman
  • Pakistan
  • Palestinian Authority
  • Qatar
  • St. Kitts and Nevis
  • St. Lucia
  • St. Vincent and the Grenadines
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Sierra Leone
  • Singapore
  • Somalia
  • Sudan
  • Swaziland
  • Syria
  • Taiwan
  • Tajikistan
  • Tanzania
  • Thailand
  • Trinidad and Tobago
  • Uganda
  • United Arab Emirates
  • United States
  • Vietnam
  • Yemen
  • Zambia
  • Zimbabwe

When was the last time you heard of such protests in Cuba? Do you hear cries for the United Arab Emirates, China, Suadi Arabia, India or Egypt to stop this practice. In watching the news, I hear of no outcry from those corners of the globe. I do not see a “Texas Moratorium Network” protesting trips to Caribbean nations or Caribbean crusies to destinations allowing execution. The hypocricy is blatant.

Texas needs to be under Texas law and not mob rules, whether at protests or the voting booths.

Uses of Unregulated Immigration

 The Uses of Unregulated Immigration

Kearney Smith

The Federal Government’s handling of illegal immigration is indefensible. For several decades it has deliberately failed to enforce border security through existing law, while giving illegal aliens all the economic benefits of citizenship and ultimately granting them actual citizenship through amnesty.  In short, the government lures illegal immigrants.  Since the government itself bears responsibility for the invasion, we can expect those responsible to deny that illegal immigration is a problem.  That’s what we see in the recent remark by DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano. She appeared on CNN recently and said that “crossing the border is not a crime per se.”

This failure of government is not merely from incompetence.  The unspoken motives of many who excuse illegal entry into our country are to get cheap labor and to gain support from the growing minority of potential voters.  These are self-serving aims for the narrow political benefit of the two major parties, and can’t in good faith be openly used in defense of bad immigration policy.

I want to propose another explanation for the Central Government’s failure to enforce immigration laws.  But first, let me enumerate some of the straight-forward arguments against unregulated immigration. They are so sound and so obvious that they should convince any right-thinking person. But they have fallen on deaf ears of those in government and the nation’s elite.

  1. Using the money of citizen taxpayers to provide goods and services to non-citizens is unfair.

  2. Giving illegal aliens amnesty citizenship is unfair to those who are trying legally to become citizens.

  3. Failure to secure borders puts an extra financial burden on Southern border States.

  4. Rewarding law-breaking sets a bad precedent in a country that pretends to be a nation of laws.

  5. Ignoring border violations undermines the fundamental sovereignty of the nation.

  6. Unprotected borders are a threat to national security.

  7. Unprotected borders invite drug trafficking and invasion by criminals.

  8. The influx of illegal aliens puts a strain on the nation’s infrastructure, schools, and other public facilities.

  9. Illegal alien workers are taking jobs that could and should be available to U.S. citizens.

These and other arguments have been put forward by many citizen organizations opposed to the central government’s promotion of illegal immigration. Such groups include the Southern National Congress, which passed seven Remonstrances and Petitions for a Redress of Grievances at our First Congress in December 2008.

Our Remonstrance on mass immigration warned among other things that “Federal power is being used to displace us as a People in our own land. It is hard to imagine anything more abusive and faithless on the part of our government and political leaders, whose legitimate function is the protection of society. This situation requires immediate and comprehensive remedies if the Government is to retain its moral authority and legitimacy, and thereby to expect the continued allegiance of the Southern People.”

Advocates of uncontrolled immigration are unable to refute these points with reasoned argument.  Instead they resort to tactics which have no place in civil discourse.  An instance of these tactics occurred recently at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where former Congressman Tom Tancredo was scheduled to speak about immigration.  A group of students in sympathy with illegal immigrants and led by like-minded faculty rioted in protest.  According to the Chancellor of the University, guest speaker Tancredo “felt threatened and left without making his remarks.”

Unfortunately, it’s not just isolated special-interest groups who have been hostile to a reasonable discussion of illegal immigration. Recently the Department of Homeland Security circulated a paper asserting that those who oppose unregulated immigration are potential threats to national security.

These observations bring me to another, more ominous reason among the nation’s elite for promoting illegal immigration. I am not saying there is an articulated conspiracy.   Rather it is just part of a mindset of the Washington Regime and the elites in mainstream media who wish to alter our society and our culture.  To people of this mindset illegal immigration is a principal device for altering our national habits, traditions, and beliefs. One can only speculate what kind of nation these elites intend to create.

As long ago as 1998 this attitude was revealed when President Clinton jubilantly proclaimed in a speech at Portland State that “In a little more than fifty years there will be no majority race in the United States,” and he said it is “largely because of immigration.” For several decades, we have seen an intensifying assault on Christianity, traditional marriage, English as a national language, and other values that Southerners cherish.

Similarly, under assault are individual rights embodied in the Constitution.  But we should not be surprised that a government which disregards its own laws (as the US has with its immigration laws) will likewise disregard its Constitution. Today freedom of speech is one of the most threatened of the original Bill of Rights.  With the tacit support of the Federal Government, schools and colleges are able to suppress freedom of speech using lists of forbidden words they have labeled “hate speech.”  Disregard for the Constitution, begun more than a century ago, is intensifying. Former President Bush called the Constitution just a piece of paper. And President Obama has said that it’s outdated.

When the fundamental law of the land is ignored or derided by those responsible for its enforcement, then we no longer live under a government of laws, we are no longer citizens of a self-governing constitutional republic. In which case we Southerners had better look to our own traditions, our own historic principles, and our own resources for an alternative if we wish to remain a free people.

What is/is not happening in Austin

Whenever the State Legislature is in session, nothing is safe. Fortunately, the forefathers of Texas were wise enough to limit how long a legislative session lasts. As the session nears it end, some of the hired help is scrambling to take action. State Senator Jeff Wentworth is trying to find a way for the hired help to call themselves into special session. Wentworth is to be applauded for introducing a bill that would allow students to carry guns on college campuses.

Although some hired hand can handle themselves, allowing the State legislature to meet at their own choosing is potentially dangerous. That is akin to allowing the foxes to make policy for the hen house. Although I had high hopes with HCR 50 and HCR 76 in this session, they may not pass due to political moves by Senfronia Thompson to kill the bill.  Well, she may get what she wants and many other bills will die as well. The whole state legislature is bogged down in a gridlock. Since the votes on many bills are falling along partisan lines, there is little hope that the hired help will consider the needs of their constituents and Texas ahead of their party policies.

I laughed at the obvious bias when the television report out of Austin showed Jim Dunnam complaining about how he can’t get his insurance bill passed, due to the Republicans wanting to ‘turn away’ voters. (The Republicans merely want people to produce ID when they are voting. But-Dunnam can’t have that-it might keep dead people from voting).  This is the same Jim Dunnam who shot down the Amy Lyn Donovan Act, which would have stiffened penalties for those fleeing from police officers. This is the same Jim Dunnam who spewed poltically correct and historically wrong propaganda in response to Governor Perry’s comments about Texas may leave the Union. Many leftist news services praise his work, since he secures more Yankee (Federal) dollars for his area.(Doesn’t he listen to the head of the Hussein regime who said that America is broke, thanks to healthcare costs? One would think that if the empire was broke, that those who spent more money were in fact the problem rather than the solution).

It is also interesting that media information sources with a liberal-bias such as wikipedia have glowing bios on Dunnam and Safronia Thompson. Concidence?  I think not, if anything, it is another indication of the biased information and ‘political reconstruction’ going on as part of the third reconstruction of the South. The call for a third reconstruction is being sounded from several sources, including Salon and other rabel rousers. This third Reconstruction is labelled the “Americanization” effort. (In other words, it is a cultural war, where they want to remove our distinctiveness).

Huffington Post uses SPLC to slime writers

A recent article in the Huffington Post addresses the recent memoir of Sarah Palin. Since one of the writers had some associations with the League, the Huffington Post performed what has become the obligatory reference to the League with the standard slander from the Southern Poverty Law Center. In doing so, they hope to cast doubt on Sarah Palin. The writers sound like they have done a fine job. I like the line where they make reference to the party in power “The Democratic Party is like the Gambino mob, but with matching federal funds.”

What many people do not realize is that if anyone stands up for Christian values, the idea of one man one woman marriage, the need to protect our borders, and the abuses of power displayed by the federal government, they are labelled as a ‘hate group’ by the Southern Poverty Law Center.   It is as if the SPLC is the attack dog of the ‘powers that be’. Bear in mind that the SPLC was in the thick of things with the Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City. They often serve as the attack dog for the ‘powers that be’ whether it be protecting the culture, borders or traditional values. They have already labelled the Catholic Church and others as ‘hate groups’ due to the values they espouse.  Even after groups wash off the slime from such attacks, the press is still willing to use the SPLC to slime someone else. There are times that the press does it on purpose and other times, that they are just too lazy to investigate things for themselves. In previous posts, I have identifed how the television station in Lufkin and the publication in Austin were often too lazy to investigate matters on their own, but instead used the SPLC’s slander to pigeon hole the League and its members.

Preventative Detention: the newest buzz word

With each passing day and approved legislation, the Obama regime has been centralizing control over many aspects of the government. He initially wanted to pattern himself after the tyrant Lincoln, and …what do you know, he is succeeding in patterning himself after that power hungry tyrant that destroyed the Federal Republic. In his latest move, he is considering a “Preventative Detention” plan. Although the name sounds beneficial, what it amounts to is a suspension of habeus corpus. Let me make this plain..he is considering a plan to jail people without bringing charges against them. Although the plan may start with ‘terrorists’, it will not take long before such a plan is applied to those who are considered threats. He ‘discovered’ these powers in the Constitution, and wants to create a judicial system to deal with it. He claims that his administration and Congress will  have oversight of these programs. To make matters worse, he delivered the speech at the National Archives. Picture if you will, he is standing in the building with the original Constitution and delivering a speech where he proposes a program of ‘preventative detention’ which could last as long as ten years.

The tyrant Lincoln is not the first who suspended habeus corpus. President John Adams passed the Alien and Sedition Acts, which were declared unconstitutional. The lure of power and the temptation to lock up those who oppose the powers that be is very tempting. It was tempting in the 1700’s, the 1800’s and now in the 21st century it is tempting again. The regime is having a hard time saying “no” to abusing its power. It is not content with bullying other nations, now it wants to lock up “suspected” terrorists.

Not content to refuse abiding by the Constitution regarding his eligibility, now he wants to refusing abiding by the rule of law, by denying ‘habeus corpus’. The South witnessed what happens when an occupational government operates outside of the law during reconstruction. Now the rest of the nation may see what ‘high tech reconstruction’ is like.

Even the consideration of such an action sets a dangerous precedent.
