Following the Constitution is illegal in Oklahoma and other government created problems

Although the United States Constitution specifies the importance of a “well armed and well regulated militia”, it does not mean much in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma house and senate have passed bills making membership or recruiting for such groups a crime. They have gone so far as to associate militia members with gang recruitment. So at this time, if one joins a militia, which is allowed under the Constitution, they are breaking the law in Oklahoma.

I guess if the regime ignores the Constitution enough, then states like Oklahoma make following it a criminal act. This is just another in the latest parade of wrong headed solutions and further evidence that government is not the solution, but rather the problem. Although the name of Timothy McVeigh was touted by those pushing the measure, they forgot that the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) knew he was up to something, but did not stop it. The SPLC was working with the federal government in setting up a sting operation. The feds and SPLC were working together on this. In courts, they would call it a conspiracy or ‘organized crime’, but if you own the judges, they will not say anything about such a conspiracy. The failure to warn is a crime in some state, but apparently not in Oklahoma.

Since they (the SPLC and the empire) were really part of the problem, why not outlaw membership or support of a group that has known and proven connections with Oklahoma City? It would be too logical to outlaw those directly associated with the act. Instead they want to prevent membership in groups that could prevent such actions. The logic of the Oklahoma legislature is beyond words.

Another shining example is Congressman Henry Waxman’s slipping in an obscure anti-supplement measure into the Wall Street “Reform” Bill. The measure increases government control of the supplement industry. Once again government takes away freedoms, when it should be expanding them. By his covert move of slipping in the distasteful measure in another bill, it could be passed on the momentum of the other. Such maneuvers are common in the imperial city. What a bill is labeled is often a far cry from what it actually contains.

Legislation is too dangerous to be trusted to politicians, whether in Oklahoma or the imperial city. These bozos prove time and time again that they can not be trusted with such dangerous power. If the common man spent like Congress and behaved like they do, that person would be locked up.

These are the latest examples of the assault on freedoms currently underway. In Oklahoma, you have lost the freedom of association, assembly and militia membership. Across the nation, the freedom to purchase diet supplements and make health care decisions is being eroded even as you read this.

Instead of an out-of-control government, how about leaving the Union? How about having a legislature that is accountable to the people?

If you loved LBJ…

In the aftermath of the Kennedy assassination, President LBJ quickly had the feds take over the handling of the incident from local and Texas authorities. Although the DPS had the best investigation staff, the President took the incident away from them. In a similar manner, the head of the current regime has taken over the investigation into the Islamic terrorist attack on Ft. Hood Texas. Here it is five months later, and the regime continues defying subpoenas related to the incident. It is strange enough that the regime intervenes directly into such a matter, but now it continues stonewalling the incident.

Texas is dear to my heart, so incidents occurring in Texas are a concern. The regime’s handling of this episode and the quick sweeping away of the incident in Arlington when a trained sniper was caught with explosives which she was threatening to use was dismissed cause some concern. The double standard of how the Michigan militia had explosives, which the government referred to as “WMD”(Weapons of Mass Destruction) were hauled off. In Texas, these incidents involving Islamic terrorists are hushed up, minimized, and the regime does not want to use the label “Islamic terrorists”, even though that is what they are.

When one connects the dots, the regime supports and condones selective terrorists. If you are an American, such as the man who flew into the IRS building, the press will have a hey day. If you are an Islamic terrorist, the regime will increase the number of flights to your home country, increase the number of immigrants from your country (and if the local citizenry dares to call the immigrants “illegal”, the Justice Department will investigate). Any terrorist acts will be covered up and minimized in order to avoid offending the beliefs or image of those involved.

If LBJ did such a thing, it would be considered a cover-up or conspiracy. Let the usurper Barack Hussein Obama do such a thing and the press says little if anything to condemn his treasonous acts.

Treason by any other name.

In another attempt to change the culture, the regime has announced a new program. The new program focuses on exchange programs with ‘Muslim’ countries. I find it of interest that the specific title of ‘Muslim’ was used. Had a policy been instituted to exchange students with Christian nations, the media would howl. The lack of outrage in the media underscores their tacit conspiracy with the regime to blur the lines of church and state. Although the media and ACLU will scream about Christmas decorations, let a State policy be announced that favors one religion over others and ….silence. This is a flagrant case of State supported religious preferences.

Look at what they do, not what they say. Rather than decreased the number of people from terrorist sponsoring nations, they invite more. The logic is one of undermining the culture and endangering the safety of the citizens. Such a policy is treason. There is no way to sugar coat it or polish this one till it shines. The policy endangers us, it shows religious preferences and exposes the complicity of the regime with the media. It is bad enough that there are militant terrorist training camps in the States, now they want more potential candidates imported.

Such a policy is either stupidity or payback for someone purchasing the debt for the administrations policies.

We need a government that respects the will of the citizens. Rather than ridicule what the citizens want, like in Arizona, the empire needs to take steps to assist them in supporting government of the people, by the people and for the people, instead of playing to the masses of the world.

Blaming the blogs

During the campaign, the Usurper made full use of social media and the internet. I often chuckle at how he maintained twitter, facebook and LinkedIn accounts. The activity on those accounts stopped upon his election. it was as if now that he won, he forgot about the power or social media and blogs. Now that he has usurped the office of President, he is complaining that he is unable to get his message out and connect with the people (e.g. control the message and manipulate the masses). He claims that the media is too “diffuse”.

It seems that his campaign staff, which were supposed geniuses at social media have not been able for fool all the people all the time. Why can’t he just accept responsibility and butch up? His programs do not resonate. He does not have a good message. If his message was good, it would get out. He has already blamed Bush, now it is the blogs, and heaven knows who or what he will blame next. The reality is, his programs are not good for the people and they know it.

They do not want higher taxes (he has already raised tobacco taxes, tanning bed taxes and others), they do not want mandatory health care, they do not want a leader who subscribes to the myth of man-made global warming, they do not want mandatory taxpayer funding for abortions, they do not want a leader who bows and kowtows to foreign leaders. They want the borders protected, they want Islamic terrorist attacks investigated (e.g. Fort Hood), they do want a leader who accepts responsibility rather than blame others, they do want a leader who is legally qualified to hold office, they do want a leader who keeps his promises. They want leadership that expands liberties and leaves them alone. They want a leader who will remove the obstacles for them to do business.

Note the head of the regime’s concern for wanting to let the people know ‘why’ he is doing to them what he is doing. If his message regarding his reasons for doing what he does was so ‘wonderful’, then what the blogs say would not matter. They people recognize that they do not like what he is doing to them, no matter what he reasons for doing it are. President John Adams tried to control the media by outlawing any criticism of the government. Abraham Lincoln did the same.

Hey Ya’ll! Look at all these Texans on the Honor Roll

The SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) recently published it list (honor roll more like it) of the 40 top Patriots on their hit list. In a quick “lookie” at the list, Texas is well represented.

13. Alex Jones
14. Devvy Kidd
15. Larry Kilgore
21. Daniel New
25. Jon Roland
40. Ron Paul

Considering that there were only 40 people on the list from across the empire, to have 6 out of those 40 (roughly 15%) is quite an accomplishment. There must be something in the water that inspires Texans.

Consider how Sam Houston saw this trait years ago when he said, “Texas has yet to learn submission to any oppression, come from what source it may.”

A big Texas hat-tip to each of those who made it to the honor roll. You do us all proud.

A Southerner Speaks

A Southerner Speaks

Gene Andrews
I have always been proud of my time spent as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. I served in the Republic of Vietnam in 1969 and, while I was certainly no “John Wayne” type, I tried to do my duty to the best of my ability and I did bring all of my platoon out of Vietnam alive.

This past summer, the son of a frend of mine was very ‘gung ho’ about joining the Marines and asked my opinion, which I tried to give as honestly as possible, warts and all. I don’t know if my discussions had any influence on him, but he enlisted, completed all of the pre-enlistment tests and physical exams and went to all of the pre-enlistment meetings. To say the least, he was very excited about serving his country in the Corps.

Shortly before he left Nashville for boot camp, he was told he could not serve his country because he had a Confederate Battle Flag tattooed on his shoulder in an area that would be completely covered by a t-shirt, and certainly by his uniform.

When informed of this, I went to the local recruiting station that had processed this young man to see if I were getting the entire story. The recruiter, a staff sergeant, told me, “Yes, sir. The Marine Corps considers the Confederate Flag a ‘hate symbol,’ but if the young man in question had a state or U.S. flag tattoo, that would be acceptable.”

I informed the young sergeant that my family had defended the State of Tennessee (also his home state) against a sadistic invasion under that flag and to call our sacred flag of honour a ‘hate symbol was an insult to ALL southerners, but especially to those southereners who had risked or even given their lives in service to the Marine Corps. Southerners had served at Belleau Woods, at Taraw and Iwo Jima, at Inchon and the Chosin Reservoir, and at Khe Sahn and Hue City, but now we are no longer wanted in the politically-correct don’t-offend-any-minorities military? (This was just prior to the Fort Hood massacre)

He was polite, even sympathetic, but said the flag policy was a Marine Corps policy from Headquarters Marine Corps and not a local decision. After informing the sergeant that it seemed to me that our military was building a mercenary force of illegal aliens while rejecting native-born Americans in order to have a ready force to turn, without question, on American citizens, I asked the sergeant if he had taken out the trash yet.

He replied that he hadn’t.

I then said, “Please add these to the day’s garbage,” and returned my lieutenant’s bars, my gold and silver Marine Corps emblem from my dress blues, my shooting badges and my Vietnam ribbons.

I, like many of you, have always been told, “Once a Marine, always a Marine,” and “There are no ex-Marines, only former Marines,” but for me that is no longer true.

I was born in the South. I was raised here. I raised my family in the South and some day, God-willing, I hope to be buried in the native soil of our Southern homeland. I have always considered myself a Southerner first, and will remain so, despite any other organization that I may temporarily join.

I will never make a critical remark about a veteran, from any branch of the service, but from now on, I will do everything in my power to discourage any Southern young man, or lady, from becoming a future veteran. I am now an ex-Marine.

Happy San Jacinto Day!

Today is San Jacinto Day. A time to remember our Independence. When Texas won it’s independence, nations around the world were shocked! Texas took its place at the table of nations. The Texians defeated Mexico and secured their independence. This is a day to express thanks for the blessings of God on Texas, learn from our ancestors and labor toward an independent Texas. The world needs Texas! The world needs a beacon of hope to inspire freedom and liberty. The world needs a place where the rule of law is respected. The world needs us, rather than an empire with armies circling the globe and dictating how they should do things. An empire that sends tax collectors around the world to claims its subjects.

This is the anniversary of the victory at the Battle of San Jacinto. When a tyrant was taken from power. This is the day the tyrant fell. When free men rise up, though small in numbers against a tyrant with their armies, there is no limit to what they can accomplish.

What did the tyrant Santa Anna do? He changed the Constitution of Mexico, ignored the appeals of the people, tried to implement a state religion for all of the Mexican empire, shut down the State Legislatures, threw people in jail with no valid reason, and began a campaign of racial and cultural genocide against the colonists in Texas. He worked diligently to destroy the culture and societal structures in place in Texas.

When Texas won its independence, the big bankers in the US and the world howled in anger. They were shocked that the persons they had supported were now defeated. Texas was also a defeat of the big bankers. San Jacinto Day represents the day that Texas upset the world’s movers and shakers. They controlled Mexico, but they could not control Texas.

Texans have changed the world since that day onward. This is a good day to remember that and give thanks for that.

The triple-whammy

The current regime hates Texas and it hates real science. This has become clear in how the regime has purposely not mentioned the Manned Space Center in Houston in addressing the space program and changes in it. Heck, the regime even refused allowing NASA personnel to attend a speech given by the usurper at the NASA facility in Florida. The regime is showing a disdain for real science in terms of space exploration. Instead, it will direct NASA to study the mythical man-made climate change. It is a clear case of NASA being used for political purposes. This is not the first time that such an action has occurred. In recent years, NASA was sent to study the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza regarding the astronomical observations made there. It is as if NASA was sent to investigate the Mayan 2012 myths. The Obama administration just has it chasing another myth.

When such myth chasing occurs, is it any wonder that what is presented as science in the government schools is a lot of myth chasing? Evolution, man-made climate change, and whatever else seems in vogue. Instead of chasing real science, like understanding solar winds, and exploring space, they have been diverted. It is reminiscent of historic precedents when backward nations have purposely stunted science and scientific studies.

We have here a triple-whammy

Obama hates Texas
Obama hates technology and the empire having superior advances in that area
Obama hates REAL science

We need leadership that is not bent on taking things back into the middle ages. We need leadership that stands tall rather than one that bows to other nations.

We need leadership that is willing to continue technological advances and science in general. During the CSA, the States knew that innovation was essential. The advances made helped our people then. We need a government that allows innovation, rather than stifles it.

Truth makes them scream

I find myself chuckling at all the hoopla the liberals are making about the changes in Texas textbooks. They are screaming because due to the changes made by the State Board of Education (SBOE). They object to the government being called a republic rather than a democracy, they scream because Jefferson Davis is compared side by side to Abraham Lincoln. They complain because the board did not see Cesar Chavez, hip-hop music and other radical liberals along with their ideas worthy of mention in a history text.

They have several campaigns to stop these changes underway. They have already paraded out college student stooges in coordinated T-shirts emblazoned with “Save our History” (bear in mind that that slogan is nothing more than a campaign of the History channel, so the shirts amount to corporate sponsorship and advertising. Imagine if they were all wearing matching Goldman-Sachs T-shirts embalzoned with “save our banks” and then you will understand the ludicrous picture this really is).

They have enlisted Vermont Public Radio in their efforts as well. When was the last time you heard straight news, without a liberal slant from anything on NPR?

The efforts to confuse the people continue with the Jefferson Movement. Although many Southrons were strong Jeffersonians, the view of Jefferson they espouse is very different than the real Thomas Jefferson, who strongly supported Secession, Gun Rights, States Rights and even advocated that any government official can declare government acts as ‘unconstitutional’. Imagine if Texas courts began declaring the policies of the Obama administration as ‘unconstitutional’ based on Jeffersonian ideas? I would love to see that Jefferson presented in the schools, yet, the version they will get is the one that advocated the “wall of separation between church and state” along with his admiration of the Koran (even though he was the first President to go to war against an Islamic nation).

Even Chuck Norris has weighed in on the issue in support of truth and preserving history, including the Judeao-Christian roots and actual events. He stands opposed to those who want to re-write history according to liberal world views.

The battle rages. The liberals are using Thomas Jefferson as a lightning rod, but don’t be fooled. They are wanting hip-hop, Cesar Chaavez, down grading of Christian influence and other changes to the textbooks all in the sacred name of ‘progress’. The Nashville Agrarians saw the danger of the use of the term ‘progress’ often being used to hide the true agenda. They are screaming at the fact that Texas students and others may learn the truth concerning culture and values.
