And you just thought reconstruction was over…

Election years often provide an opportunity to see that reconstruction of the South and Southern culture is alive and well. The Obama regime’s Justice Department has announced that it is sending election monitors to 18 States. Is it any surprise 9 of them or a little more than 1/2 of those States were either part of the Confederate States or its territories? (Texas, , Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, New Mexico and Arizona). The ‘observers’ will be watching the selected potential ‘trouble spots’.

Here are the Southern locations where the federal goons will be keeping their eyes on the locals.

I am surprised that Harris County is not included since CONgress Critter Sheila Jackson Lee opposes volunteer poll watchers, yet she does want Federal ‘Observers or ‘Monitors’‘.

Don’t fool yourselves. The South is still being treated like a stepchild needing supervision. It is more than ironic that the federal officials declined to say why these counties were identified. The monitoring of elections in the South has been a hallmark of Yankee occupation since 1865.

Leviathan wants more control

It was not enough that the federal government took control of student loans. Now they want even more control of colleges. Their latest target are for profit universities. Rather than allow them to run the business of education the way they deem best, the Federal Leviathan now wants to more control. The new control is being exerted by the Department of Education with new regulations. Bear in mind that the Department of Education was an agency instituted by the Carter regime. The fedgov wants to be notified of any new programs and to redefine what constitutes a credit hour in their institutions. They also want say so in how the schools market their services. The regime claims that these interventions do not intrude into academics, yet some are not so sure of that. All of these changes come in the wake of the feds taking control of student loans. The connection between student loans and redefining a credit hour escapes me, but leave it to the fedgov to want to attach strings to any monies it doles out.

This is just another encroachment in our lives. It will only be a matter of time before they dictate curriculum and course materials. Some suspect that the Federal Textbook act was an attempt to control the content of textbooks used in colleges. The pieces are in place to control the content. knowing the power hungry tendencies, it is likely that the control will be exerted.

The Department of Education has grown from its initial creation under the Carter regime to its current size of having a budget of $45 Billion dollars a year.

In a free Texas, the teachers (or Texas school board) would decide what to include and what to teach. I guess that makes too much common sense.

Trouble in the Texas 18th Congressional District

It is no surprise that CONgress Woman Shiela Jackson Lee shows an utter disregard for election laws. In the latest, she was caught electioneering in her own district. On top of that, she was harassing poll watchers. She has a long track record of interfering with things that she ought not, from Jena, Louisiana to the Imperial City and now her own district. Perhaps she is following the example of Michelle Obama who “may have” violated Illinois election laws by campaigning at a polling site.

Perhaps some elected officials believe they are above the law? Perhaps they show as much disregard for the laws as they do for their own constituents? We knew that there would be controversy in Harris County, and it looks like it has already began.

Violent overthrow of government is on the table

Congressional candidate Stephen Broden has taken the courageous step of saying that ‘violent overthrow of government is on the table’. He is running against Eddie Bernice Johnson for the 30th Congressional District in Texas. Although some people are shocked it the comment, let us not forget that Eddie Bernice Johnson has supported legislation that carries with it the use of force in dealing with her pet political issues. She has forced Obamacare, Cap and Trade and other nonsense on her constituents. Little was said about her using ‘force’ in those matters.

Eddie Johnson also saw to it that her family members received special treatment in terms of scholarships. She has treated her family with preferential treatment, but when others do so, she screams about the unfairness of the incidents.

It’s not a mistake!

The head of the Obama regime has removed references to God as the Creator being the source of our rights as mentioned in the Declaration of Independence. There can be slips due to bad speechwriters, which I can half-way understand. But, this is the third time!

Bear in mind that the Confederate Congress purposely identified “Almighty God” in the Constitution, since they believed the title ‘Creator’ was like political correctness in that time period. Now we have a regime that even wants to remove the Creator title.

It remains to be seen if this ‘repeated’ removal of references to God is an attempt to merely remove any recollection that rights come from God or that the government wants to be seen as the source of our rights or if he wants to promote a ‘Godless’ form of government.

This is not the government of our forefathers. This regime is ashamed of giving credit to Almighty God, even in a watered down version. Such actions should concern any decent Bible scholar as to the significance of such an act. The regime is showing its true colors and true allegiances. Such an act should concern us all.

Domestic Jihad coverup?

In the latest twist on the Ft. Hood jihad attack in Texas, a soldier who recorded videos of the event was ordered to destroy them by a superior officer. This is just the latest insult in this tragedy. When Congress wanted to investigate the incident a year ago (Nov 2009), shortly after it occurred, the White House of the Obama regime intervened by urging them to wait until the fedgov officials investigated the incident. The Obama regime promised a full investigation into the matter (whatever that means).

The Federal panel assigned the investigation were Clinton-era appointees, who subscribe to Political Correctness. (Recall that it was the Clinton regime which changed the law to where soldiers could no longer carry guns on bases like this).

The biggest thing that the investigation has turned up is that there were gaps between the agencies that were supposed to coordinate data sharing. Rather than put the attacker on trial, they focused on how the information about the attacker was handled. Even when the regime took over, they were reluctant to share information with the Senate during its investigation of the matter. The Senate finally had to subpoena the regime in order to gain access to important information. When the results of the ‘official’ investigation were finally released to the public, the incident was not viewed as a terrorist attack or domestic jihad. Instead it was referred to as ‘workplace violence‘.

I guess the video may show that it was something more than ‘workplace violence’.

The handling of the Ft. Hood terrorist attack is just another in the latest propaganda coming out of the Imperial City. It is another example of the problem of the corrupt empire. Then answer is secession. The best solution is to leave their mess behind.

The cult of ‘experts’

One of the sadder aspects of crowd behavior is that they often accept what a politician says, because they are a ‘politician’. By being elected to hold office, they automatically are given expert status when it comes to law, economics, health care, social issues, sociology, international politics and other issues.

In the latest installment, the head of the Obama regime is attributing emerging “Tribal attitudes” as being due to the economic straits the empire is in. Never mind that his policies aggravated the economic situation, or that the democratic controlled Congress has passed detrimental legislation, it is another chance to play the ‘race card’ and assume the position of being an expert, this time at social trends.

He may be an expert and have had numerous courses in the subject while in college, but alas… we are not allowed to see his college records. So, we don’t know what he is an ‘expert’ at. We do not know what he is qualified to do. Being a law student, it is likely that he studied law, and any other subject areas were electives and not his specialization.

As the election season is now upon us, it behooves us to not fall for someone just because they are elected. In fact, just the opposite. We should dismiss what the elected folks say, since they often say anything in order to stay in office. Look at what they have done. Look at what bills they have supported. Look at what freedoms they have taken away from you. In the case of CONgress, they have taken away your light bulbs, raised your taxes while reducing the services, forced you to purchase health care insurance, taken away your health care choices, removed your choices regarding agricultural products, eliminated jobs in the petroleum industry, forced companies to relocate jobs overseas, reduced the security of the borders and branded many of you as a potential domestic terrorists. How is that for starters? This is especially true if you are represented by such democrats as Sheila Jackson Lee, Gene Green, Ciro Rodriguez, Lloyd Doggett, and Eddie Bernice Johnson. Remember it was the democrats who said that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were not in trouble in the months before they fell apart and were bailed out. These people are not experts. Far from it, they are hacks who have followed the democratic (socialist) agenda and seek implementing it on the empire as a whole.

When you go to the polls also beware of other threats. In Hays County for example, the Austin Community College is trying to force the people to accept taxation from them. People forget the out of district tuition is temporary, but taxes are forever. If any agency is trying to ’sneak’ a new tax on you, tell them NO. They will make all kinds of excuses for the tax and how it will be a minute amount, JUST SAY NO!

Giving away their freedom!

Two school districts in Texas have taken the lead and began using RFID chips in their student ID’s. Now the school districts can track the children wherever they go. it is bad enough that the districts would do this, what makes it worse is that many parents are supportive of this action.

These are the same RFID chips used to track cattle and pets. For the district to use such tools presumes that the children are viewed as ‘chattel’. I wonder if these parents studied history enough to realize that in some past regimes, people had to obtain permission to travel to another city or region. Tracking is another step in the process that will eventually result in a similar system being developed.

In the article, a school spokesman said that it has increased attendance. That is the key. They need the numbers in order to obtain more funds. The more the numbers, the more the funds.

Ten years ago, had someone said that they will be herding and tracking your children like cattle, they would have been laughed at. Who is laughing now/

This raises questions about what the purpose of school is for. Are they attending for an education or to be warehoused, tracked and profiled? Children are a gift, and not some commodity for the State to track.

The use of RFID is troubling. Hopefully parents across Texas will see the danger that this new crowd control technique for what it is.
