An insult to the office

In reading the account of how the recently elected Governor of Hawaii (Neil Abercrombie) is speaking out against ‘birthers’, he made an interesting comment. “It [the Obama birth certificate controversy] is an insult to his [Obama’s] mother and to his father; they were my friends, and I have an emotional interest in that.” . “It’s an emotional insult. It is disrespectful to the president; it is disrespectful to the office.

I find it interesting since he makes mention of being disrespectful of the office. Given the regime’s pattern of lying, and blaming, it astounds me that he does not consider those things disrespectful. I wonder if the Governor considers the head of the regime bowing to other national leaders in reverence to them a sign of disrespect? In his case, probably not.

The moral compass of these types is so warped they do not recognize disrespect when they see it. To them it is ‘disrespectful’ when you demand the truth. When office holders lie, mislead, misrepresent, threaten or chide others, it is not seen as disrespect. When office holders give away sovereignty and bow in respect to other heads of state the establishment does not view it as disrespect. When the office holder of the regime publicly distorts historic facts or mocks Christianity, it is not viewed as disrespect of the office. It is only when people want to hold the office holder accountable under the law, that it is deemed ‘disrespectful’.

The governor’s comment sums up the mindset of establishment politicos and how they have distorted the meaning of words and bumfoozled the people.

It is no wonder that the Good Book says, “Ye shall know the truth and the truth will set you free”. When you stick to the truth and the wisdom of your forefathers, it will stead you well.

The Obama regime’s censorship

In the latest round of censoring, the Obama regime in now wanting to squelch the talk of ‘death panels’. They prefer to use the term ‘end of life care planning’. The bottom line is that the health care workers are to receive financial incentive to direct people in planning the end of their lives. To me “end of life”=death certainly sounds logical, but I don’t buy all the brainwashing by political correct edict that comes out of this regime.

This is just the latest in their series of censorship and re-labeling of terms.

Consider how the head of the regime attempted redefining ‘jihad’ to an audience in India. He claimed that the term jihad is a tenet of Islam that “has been distorted to justify violence towards innocent people.” Rather than admitting that it means a ‘holy war’ that all members of that faith are required to carry out when it is called for.

Some of the pro-regime fans are trying to remove the stigma from the term Obamacare. Rather than calling it what it is, they prefer to neutralize the term.

Before the concern over the term ‘Obamacare’, the concern was over the term illegal alien. Rather than referring to the criminal immigrants for what they are, the fans of political correctness and the regime want to use the term ‘undocumented workers’.

As a student of history, the last time a regime worked so diligently on relabeling terms and changing the meaning of items was that of the National Socialists Party when it took over the political machine in 1930’s Germany.

Make no mistake, the words we use are important. Words can change the message. Words can make the issues clearer or obscure what is actually going on. As the empire implements more of the Obamacare plan and the centralized planning and control behind its policies, it will work to ‘hide’ the massive sovietization of the government.

Richmond Court Ruling on Obamacare

League of the South Statement
Re: Richmond U.S. District Court ruling on ObamaCare

On Monday, 13 December 2010, U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson in Richmond, Virginia, ruled that the requirement mandating that individuals purchase health insurance found in President Barack Obama’s health-care legislation goes beyond Congress’s powers to regulate interstate commerce.

Today, the Obama regime has appealed the ruling.

The League of the South believes the case will ultimately be decided in the US Supreme Court in favor of the Obama regime. “That is what happens,” said League President Michael Hill, “when you have a government that has been allowed free reign under the Commerce Clause. Washington, DC, gets used to doing as it pleases when it pleases. The federal courts have been unwilling in most cases to stop such abuses of power.”

It is the League’s considered opinion that the States ought to call their respective legislatures into special session, if necessary, and prepare to invoke the powers of nullification, interposition, and secession to protect their citizens from an unjust and immoral act by the federal government.

Justice Breyer is ignorant of history!

In a recent declaration, Justice Breyer of the Supreme Court had the audacity to say that the founding fathers never intended for guns to be unregulated. His comment shows an ignorance of historic events.

Which ones is he referring to? The two which are most responsible for the Constitution, James Madison and James Wilson were both advocates of unregulated private gun ownership. Wilson not only wanted, but used his guns to defend he and his family when his home was under attack from local vigilantes.

Madison went on the record as stating.

Americans have the right and advantage of being armed - unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.

– James Madison, The Federalist Papers

Apparently, Justice Breyer was not referring to the Constitution and its writers, since they were opposed to the government regulating fire arms. Maybe he has his history confused.

Founding father George Mason said,

“To disarm the people… was the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”

– George Mason, speech of June 14, 1788

It is also interesting that even in modern culture, there are some that recognize the idiocy of regulating guns.

A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity.
— Sigmund Freud, General Introduction to Psychoanalysis

These vermin will lie and distort facts and events to make their position sound acceptable. Beware of such distortions.

Role modeling values in the Bexar County Schools

Although I did not find mention f it on the internet, the Bexar County Coalition of School Boards has strongly urged Governor Perry to accept the federal school funding monies. When I saw that story I thought Yowza! Do these people realize what they are advocating. They are wanting Governor Perry to break the laws of the State of Texas so that they can have more money. They told him that it needs to be accepted with the strings attached. That statement tells me that they know the impact of what they are asking Perry to do. I would hate to think what kind of message that send to the kids of Bexar County. “It’s ok to disregard any laws, just so long as you make money at it!” That is the kind of thinking that leads to prostitution.

Rather than blast Lloyd Doggett who inserted the poison pill, they attack Governor Perry for following the law. I guess that is another role modeling lesson from the government schools of Bexar County-Attack those who abide by the law rather than those who created the mess in the first place.

Look at what they do rather than what they say. In the case of the leadership of the Bexar County Schools, it is apparent that respect for the law is out, respect for Texas is out, but lining up to federal feed trough is acceptable. Making money is placed above principle as shown by the leadership example in Bexar County.

Whatever happened to the teachers and principals being the role models of good living in the community. Rather than leaders who stand on principle, we have leaders who will do anything for money.

We need a return to values that promote principle and uplift society rather than those of the bawdy house that will do anything for $.

Medicaid cuts coming: Who’s to blame?

Cuts in federal funding of Medicaid will soon be impacting Texas. What this means is that Texas will be forced to pay a larger percentage of these medical costs. Although the empire dictates that more will be covered by Medicaid, they have reduced what providers are paid and the amount they will pay. The situation is made worse by Obamacare. With all the debacles currently underway, when full-tilt Obamacare hits, it is sure to hurt Texas even more.

Remember this when Obamacare supporters like Lloyd Doggett mouth off about how it (Obamacare) will help people. Somehow healthcare is now viewed as a right, rather than a privilege. People do need access to health care, but it is not up to the federal government to underwrite it or provide it. The Constitution does not say that the fedgov is to cover the uninsured or provide coverage for various items. The fedgov has no business in the health care field.

The Medicaid scam has been going on a long time. There are people who are paid bonuses for signing people up for Medicaid. The swell the numbers so that there is more federal control in the health care field. This is just another way that the federal monster grows bigger.

We need a smaller federal government rather than a larger one. One of the few benefits of this upcoming mess is that Texas legislators are looking at ways of divorcing themselves from this federal monster, which they should.

You’ve got to know the players!

Modern events make more sense when you know the players. The recent TSA pat down controversy makes sense when you look at the head of the TSA. The director is John Pistole. Pistole has a long history of reaching out to the Mohammedean community. He even managed reaching out to CAIR (which has documented connections with the terrorist group Hamas). Apparently, when you are with the ruling regime, one does not have to avoid their connections. Pistole has continued his reaching out now that he is director of the TSA. Prior to this position, he was in charge of counter-terrorism at the FBI. Even though he knew the Hamas-CAIR connection, he continued reaching out to them. Ironically, it was he who testified that the Saudis have been more cooperative with the FBI, which is in variance with the Wikileaks disclosure that Suadi’s are the main financiers of AL Quida. (One of those things that make you go Hmmmmm).

He may have been fooled by the diplomats, yet his track record is one of presenting a positive picture of Mohammedeans.

Under his leadership, travel in Southern airports is more complicated than it used to be. Policies have been enacted that make everyone suffer rather than profile those who have known terrorist connections. Such policies are not good for Texas or the South. We do not need people who coddle terrorist associated groups CAIR being in charge of security. That is the proverbial fox being in charge of the hen house.
