In the past week, many international events have unfolded. In Sudan, the southern part of that nation, which is mostly Christian voted to secede from the Muslim north. In the secession vote, an astonishing 95% of the people voted for secession. Independence is scheduled to be declared in July. Little has been in the news about the secession vote.
In it’s neighbor to the north, Egypt there has been an uprising. The Muslim Brotherhood has instigated an uprising in many major cities of the nation. The government has scrambled to squelch the uprising. Although officially, the empire has supported the government of that nation, the empire has also been funding the destabilizing elements as well. The funding is not an Obama thing, since it has been going on for three years, which places its beginnings with the Bush regime, although the Obama regime has continued this action. Like British colonialism at its peak, the empire is playing both sides in Egypt. This is classic British policy in action. Although the empire is not Britain, the policy is the same, and being played out in the Middle East, where the Brits often used such a strategy in the past. History literally is repeating itself.
Even now the regime’s appointed Secretary of State, is convening all the empire’s ambassadors regarding the situation in Egypt.
Even as she convenes such a meeting, Obama is being proclaimed as the President who lost Egypt and Tunisia. It seems that the international community is seeing that the regime is powerless to ‘protect’ its stated friends. Ironically, the same regime has been financing the enemies of those who it claims to protect.
The Egyptian debacle is the one in the news. The reporting is almost as if the whole thing is a dry run for what is likely to unfold in other nations that do not toe the party line of the kingmakers.
What does this mean for Texas and the South?
The empire could use the Egypt episode for fear mongering. They could use the episode to pass the newest version of the Patriot Act, in order to make it more justifiable. The police state needs myths in order to continue its existence and policies.
The empire could also use the Egypt episode as a template for how to quash a popular uprising. Rather than allow the South a vote on whether or not we want to stay in the empire, they force us to remain against our will.
There are many lessons to be learned from the tale of two nations.
Liberty for Texas!

PS- A news story came out that the State Department has held a secret meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood regarding Egypt after the change in regime there. This is just further evidence of the empire using the British Middle East playbook, where you play one side against the other.
