She does not represent the South

The regime has chosen a new head for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) . The head of the regime picked Debbie Wasserman Shultz of Florida.

She has already stuck her foot in her mouth on several issues. The most recent is when she remarked that the ‘righties’ think illegal immigration is a crime.

I had to see it to believe it. It is called (criminal) immigration is called that because it is a crime. This is the same woman who complained about Republicans not supporting American car makers, when she herself owns not one, but two Japanese cars, with one of them being a SUV.

People make gaffs, that I understand. It says a great deal when the head of the regime, who the press reports as ;very intelligent’ selects a woman like this to head the DNC. It speaks volumes about the reality of such choices.

We definitely need liberty for Texas when people like this are in key positions. What they say is so far what what they do, it is laughable. It is not surprising to find that she was NOT born in the South. Although she was elected to represent Florida, she is not Southern by any means. Her vita shows that she was a college administrator and Political Science professor at Broward County Community College and close associate of Nancy Pelosi.

We need common sense leadership in the South, not people who are blind to illegal immigration being illegal and other hypocritical policies.

Memorial Day Message from the head of the regime

In an act of blatant hypocrisy, the head of the regime has called for the people to “prayer for peace” on memorial day. As the empire’s troops, our sons and daughters continue serving in undeclared wars of aggression in Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq and who knows where else, he wants peace. I do not know how conducting occupational duties and wars in nations around the globe constitutes peace. Perhaps I missed something since I was brought up in a government school.

As a Texan and Southerner it was especially hard to swallow his comment, “Ordinary men and women of extraordinary courage have, since our earliest days, answered the call of duty with valor and unwavering devotion. From Gettysburg to Kandahar, America’s sons and daughters have served with honor and distinction, securing our liberties and laying a foundation for lasting peace.”

-First it is telling that men are considered “ordinary” while women who serve are “extraordinary”. If that is not blatant sexism, I don’t know what is.

-Then he mentions how they “answered the call of duty with valor and unwavering devotion.” Is that so? How about the New York City Draft Riots. Even though they were the worst riot in US history, in the words of the regime, it was “unwavering devotion”. I guess that is why the tyrant Lincoln ordered troops to open fire on them. It was bad enough that those same Yankees killed fellow American troops just days before at Gettysburg, now he wanted them to ‘open fire’ and kill more Americans in New York. Since they were already battle hardened, it did not matter to them, they were following orders. What about the 60’s? How many of America’s youth refused to serve in the imperial war of Vietnam? I guess the leaders schooling in Indonesia did not address that period of history.

-As a Southerner, the reference to Gettysburg and Kandahar is especially appalling. He claims that they served “securing our liberties and laying a foundation for lasting peace”. Whose liberties? Not those of the South. The truth is that with both Gettysburg and Kandahar, the army was involved in occupation of a sovereign nation. They imposed their rule. Neither one achieved a lasting peace. If there was a lasting peace, why are federal poll watchers still in the South? Whey did they not give us the right to vote on leaving the Union? Why did they threaten Texas with no flights if there truly was “lasting peace”?

He forgets that at the end of the Yankee invasion, the Southerners were not allowed to decorate the graves of their dead sons. He forgets that Southern churches were not allowed to select their own leadership in the days after the war.

His words may be smooth, but they are lies and falsehood. As Southerners, you need to be aware that your sons have never been considered worthy of the same honor as Northern sons. Your liberties are not respected now, nor were they respected in 1865.

It is important that we remember our cultural roots and do not be deceived by the broad brush strokes used to smooth over the past. We have a regime that does not know the past, nor respects it. He is not even clear on whether it is a call for prayer or a “moment of remembrance”. I remember things. I remember what was fought for and it is not what is fought for now.

Forget Fukishima, we have radioactive water problems in Texas!

Will Rogers once commented that no one is safe when Congress (or the State Legislature) is in session. Truer words were never spoken. The latest outrage concerns water. It seems that the TCEQ has been under fire for the quality of water in Texas. Presently, there are high levels of radiation in some of the water supplies. The government agencies have actually been covering up the radiation levels.

These pose significant health concerns for all Texans.

If that is not enough to boil your water and your blood, then there is the Trans-Texas Water Highway that is currently being planned. If you thought that the Trans-Texas Corridor was bad, this is worse. Where is all the water coming from for this highway you might ask. Well, it is being taken from Texans and then Texans are being charged for it.

Rather than water being considered as something belonging to the property owner or land owner, it is now being considered a commodity to be shipped around and sold. Plans may be underway to sell your water and access to your water supply. What this amounts to is that your neighbor can suck all the water out of the ground and sell it out from under you.

The Trans-Texas Water Corridor is a potential threat to all of us. We all need water. This is something that concerns all Texans.

Spending Priorities

The regime is pledging billions to places like Egypt, Pakistan and Israel. In terms of federal help for the areas hit by the tornadoes like Joplin, Missouri, at this point….hmmm….NONE! How does that grab ya? Eric Cantor of Virginia says no aid without cuts.

I can tell them plenty of places to cut.

Start with foreign aid, then defund the UN, then US Attorneys who meddle with Texas laws. You can then cut wasteful federal building projects, then cut out the federal monies to planned parenthood, then the monies used for subsidies on corn/ethanol, then unnecessary poll watchers, then monitoring of the internet, then BATF, then duplicate federal agencies, defund the Department of Education, then, etc., etc., Basically, defund anything that is not within the bounds of the authority given to the government in the Constitution of the United States.

The empire cares more about many other nations that it does about the South and its people. We at the League of the South have said that for a long time. Now, it shows. The empire is showing through its actions, what their priorities are.

Folks, we need to wake up to the realities that the empire does not value us other than as tax slaves. They do not care about what happens. Sure they may pledge money and talk, but some real choices have to be made in terms of how money is spent. The empire can no longer afford to be the world’s banker, policeman, etc.

We have our own problems that need to be addressed.

In a free Texas, taking care of Texans would come first. Whether it be in terms of support for natural disasters or other needs. The care of Texans comes before the care of other nations and their woes.

Feds manhandle Texas Bill

When the Department of Justice threatened to stop all flights going into and out of Texas, the Texas Legislature backed down on the anti-groping bill that it had unanimously passed. U.S. Attorney John E. Murphy made the threats, stating

If HR [sic] 1937 were enacted, the federal government would likely seek an emergency stay of the statute,” He continued, “Unless or until such a stay were granted, TSA would likely be required to cancel any flight or series of flights for which it could not ensure the safety of passengers and crew.

John E. Murphy is a 35 year veteran of the Department of Justice, who took on the job of acting attorney of the Western District of Texas in 2009, when his predecessor left. The irony is that the same US DOJ attorneys are the ones who allow illegal aliens to cross the border 14 times before charging them. A little bit of empire double-standard here? I wonder if they would allow groping to occur 14 times before taking action? It is a shame that the same office threatens to make Texas a no-fly zone, but drug smugglers are allowed to travel in and out of them without prosecution.

The empire must go. The empire is no friend of Texas. It is no friend of liberty, it is no friend of law abiding citizens, it is no friend of decency. When foreign drug dealers have more protections to travel in and out of the empire than citizens have to be free from being groped, there are serious problems.

In a free Texas, the citizens would be protected more than the illegals. The empire would not dictate to Texas what it can and can not do, Texas would make the laws for Texans. I guess such common sense is too threatening for the empire.

The anti-Christian bias of the schools are showing

Gone are the days of opening the day of school with prayer to God Almighty. When the courts ruled in favor of Madeline Murray O’Hare and removed prayer from schools, there were many who spoke of doom and gloom coming to the schools. At the time, those voices were dismissed as being crackpots.

Now here in Texas, the Plano School District has been fighting a case for eight years for the right to silence Christian speech in schools. It is tragic that those patriots at the Alamo and Goliad who fought for Texas liberty and religious freedoms are ignored on the 175th anniversary of their deaths. The principles they fought for, the government now fights against. They land they fought is now being soiled by government agencies that seek to muzzle and silence Christian speech.

The government schools are showing their true nature. They do not allow the public to have a voice, they are not controlled in any way by the public, although we saw in the last legislative session, they sure do want the public monies. They want your money, but not your input, or your voice on Christianity. This ought to wake you up to the true nature of the government schools. They are truly about control. Consider the purpose of government schooling, … teaching the youth to submit, be silent and follow the programming they have been given. With such a control system, one can not have freedom and liberty. Christian liberty is diametrically opposed to the controlled thinking that is forced on children in the government schools. This latest case in Texas just brings the chickens home to roost.

Myths as propaganda

Myths are a powerful type of propaganda. Myths are often used to support the present power structure and belief system. They are often used to keep the old ‘gods’ in vogue. Here in the South, myths are often used to keep the occupational government in power. Stories of voter intimidation are used to justify keeping member of the Department of Justice in their roll as “poll watchers”. Truth be known, the federal empire has continued watching our elections since occupation began. There are also the Lincoln myths, the FDR myths, and Alamo myths that mentally keep us under their thumbs.

In terms of Alamo myths, consider that David Crockett had sworn an oath of allegiance to the Republic of Texas. The Alamo was not about expanding America, it was about escaping the empire. It says a lot that a former Congressman would rather risk his life fighting for ‘real’ freedom than to stay in the cesspool of the Imperial capitol and its politics. Most of those at the Alamo were wanted by the empire as criminals. They were not wanting to expand the United States, they were wanting to get away from it.

Then there are the many myths perpetrated by the empire regarding the war, which I hope to address one day.

There are the FDR myths. Myths about how the federal government will take care of us. Myths about the start of World War II. Recall that Texas Representative Martin Dies, Jr. confronted FDR about an imminent attack on Pearl Harbor long before it happened. The truth is, the attack was not a ’surprise’ and many Texans died without needing to. (Let me guess, the history books you were raised on in the government schools did not tell you about that did they?) What did those brave Texas troops die for? The myth is to bring freedom and democracy, to save the world. The truth is, that Japan and Germany did not have the resources or capability of ruling the world. They did not have the manpower. Hence, the myths were created to justify going to war.The empire did it in World War I with trumped up stories about the Lusitania, and now armed with new myths, they put lives on the line with new myths.

The empire continues creating myths. Myths about its origin, the intent of the Constitution, about spreading ‘democracy’. Recall that East Germany was called the “German Democratic Republic”. The labels were a scam, it was not democratic, nor was it a Republic. Likewise, what is called ‘democracy’ is not what is being spread. Any good farmer knows what is being spread by its smell. The smell gives it away. They label it with ‘freedom sounding words’ and surround it with myths, but its true nature shows through.

As Southrons and Texians, it is important to know the truth about events. The truth about the Republic of Texas, Annexation, Secession, the War, World War I, World War II, the Middle East, etc. rather than blindly accept the myths foisted upon you. Liberty starts in the hearts and minds.

How Confederate Principles can save BILLIONS

I am constantly amazed how the wisdom of our forefathers can steer us in a good direction. The wisdom of older statesman and previous generations is often unaffected by time. This really hit home when I saw that the head of the regime now wants to spend Billions to bail out nations in the Middle East and North Africa. It seems that he wants to bail out Tunisia, Egypt and other nations. Never mind that the empire has already spent billions meddling in their affairs for a long time.

Had the empire followed the wisdom Jefferson Davis and George Washington to stay out of the affairs of other nations, this crisis would not exist. Keep in mind that the “Peace Accord” brought about by President Carter amounted to nothing more than Israel and Egypt each being bought off by the empire. In exchange for a cease fire, we would be paying large sums of money to each side. As typical of the empire, the money often had strings attached, but those nations are smart enough to navigate around those strings. The same old shell games are still going on, and we, as taxpayers are still footing the bill.

If we followed Presidents Jefferson Davis and George Washington, we would be better off. Let’s just look at the situation:

-We would not be paying off Egypt and Israel
-We would not have troops in Afghanistan and Iraq
-We would not be the world’s policeman
-We would not be in the UN
-We would not have to deal with all the UN programs of Plan 21, Environmental accords, UN treaty of the Child, etc.

and, instead of the money being spent on such programs (which have produced little or done little to help the citizens of the United States), there would be several billion dollars saved.

As a Texan, this latest is a BIG slap in the face. There are more federal dollars going to repair the fires of riots in Mohammedean nations than are going to help with the wildfires in Texas. Think that one through…the priorities of this regime are LOUD and CLEAR. Egyptian and Tunisian lives/ property are more important to this regime than Texans. Bear in mind that in Egypt, the Christians are being persecuted relentlessly and the regime says NOTHING in condemnation of these actions.

The head of the regime in a speech stated, “It will be the policy of the US to promote reform, and to support transitions to democracy,“.Such a statement is aimed at sheeple to make it sound nice. Bear in mind, that under Sharia law, the government and religion are intertwined, there is no separating them. His statement, had he thought it through is actually a declaration of war against Mohammedism and their forms of government. I doubt that he will see it that way. The traditions and cultures of those nations will not support liberty or democracy. He knows that democracy will never take in those nations. The excuse of supporting democracy makes the transfer of funds for meddling in those nations more palatable to the sheeple in America.

He does not even listen to the people in the United States, regarding health care, oil, jobs, etc., what makes him think he can do it over there? When people are persecuted, he says nothing about it, but wants to send MORE of our money. (Somehow sending MORE money to someone who behaves like a barbarian will not make them civilized. More money will only make for a richer barbarian).

The ‘true’ American way of handling it, is to leave them alone. The true American way (of the founders) would be not meddle in the affairs of sovereign nations. Instead, he was a Rooseveltian policy of wanting to reshape the world to his likes and dislikes. Where was this democracy when that Latin American nation ousted its leader in a popular uprising? His actions show that he is NOT about democracy, he wants to spend your money. Telling you that it is about ‘democracy’ makes the liberal crowd not feel guilty when BILLIONS of your dollars are shipped overseas.

It is time to wake up to the “true” values of the regime. They have actively removed references to Christianity and dismissed Christian values as worn out and old. They do not speak out for those being persecuted. The regime instead embraces the lies, deceit, inflation and scamming of other value systems.

If he wants democracy, start here. Let us vote on whether or not to stay in the stinking Union with all the police state apparatus that goes with it.

We need you John Reagan!

When I read the news item on how the USPS (United States Postal Service) was going to default in four months, I said to myself, “This would never have happened under John Reagan”.

John Reagan was the Confederate Postmaster General. He managed to take the inefficient Yankee system and made one that was both functional and that made money. He accomplished what few have, made a government operation profitable. He made the operation pay for itself, unlike the Yankee run operation, which continues its inefficiency even today. Some historians consider Reagan one of the four most important 19th century Texans, which is quite an honor considering the many important men that lived during that time.

I still wonder how is it that the competitors of the USPS, (UPS and FedEx) manage to turn a profit while they can’t. The USPS still maintains a monopoly on first class mail and letters. Imaging what would happen if free enterprise was allowed to compete for mail delivery. We might have a post office that pays for itself as well.

It amazes me that the Confederate States accomplished something that the US postal service has continued missing. It tells me that the postal service could be efficient if they had some Texas know how there.

There are many lessons to be learned from the Confederate government which history books often gloss over rather than study.

But I can tell you what your folly and injustice will compel us to do. It will compel us to be free from your domination, and more self-reliant than we have been“-John H. Reagan

Lessons from the Indians

Over the weekend, I made it to the Comanche pow wow in Fredricksburg. One of the things that surprised me was the presence of four law enforcement squad cars at the small event. I wondered, “Why would the police be so interested in an Indian gathering?”

In talking with the participants, I saw the empire’s footprints all over the place. The Indians relayed accounts of how the empire sought a genocidal policy against their people. It suddenly hit me that the empire was guilty of doing to the Indians what they claimed to be fighting against in World War II and their actions against many other regimes.

All the talk about removing dictators who had genocidal policies amounted to nothing more than the pot calling the kettle black. The empire has a long history of genocidal policies in dealing with Indian tribes. It became clear that the empire’s actions against the South was only the warm-up for its campaigns against the Indians.

I also realized that it is not about maintaining grudges from the days of the Indian wars. The scars are fresh. There were forced sterilization of Indian women through the 1970’s by the Indian Health Services.

Bear in mind, that there is little to stop an an empire that has forced such practices on its subjects to expand the subjects it is willing to do this to. This is in addition to the support of abortion and other population reducing (killing) methods employed.

Many of these people were also Southrons. Many Indian tribes assisted us in our struggle for freedom. They suffered with us. Their heartaches are our heartaches.

The black evil of this empire is larger and darker than can be imagined. It broke my heart to hear of what was done to many Texans, and it is not talked about.

The more I learned, the more I understood why the empire had the police watching the event. What was supposed to be the 150th anniversary of a peace treaty showed bad faith on the part of the part of the empire.
