Feds to Texas: We don’t care what you want-This is what you get

Leave it to the Federal judges to run rough shod over the people of Texas. In the latest episode of ‘We don’t care what you want-This is what you get”, a three judge panel in San Antonio handed down their decree regarding the newly redrawn Congressional districts. The plan will be in place until an Imperial tribunal in the Imperial City rules on the once crafted by the Texas legislature. The new map will give democrats three of the four new districts. The tribunal gave its decree to placate Hispanic voters and insure that they were represented rather than having an accurate representation of the people living in those areas. The imperators think that this takes care of minority representation. The way the districts are drawn, the views of many people are watered down. I can always count on my CONgress critter to ignore any common sense. He’s already taken away my light bulbs, raised my taxes, put the empire in deep debt, led the charge for the federal takeover of student loans, finding more ways to squeeze money out of Americans who earn their monies overseas and vastly increased federal power at the expense of Texas. Does he, (Lloyd Doggett) represent my views? NO. He wants the federal monster to continue growing and to hell with the views, laws and wishes of Texas and its people. You may want to investigate if your CONgress critter represents your views. If you live in Dallas or Houston, count on your districts being mangled by the imperial courts as well.

Federal courts have a long record of telling Texas to take your laws and shove them, you are going to do it our way. The arrogance of the imperial judges is astounding. They have already told us how to run our prisons, the government schools and power companies, now they want to tell us how we draw our Congressional districts. The latest ruling shows that the system is set up to be top down, where the imperial policies are given priorities rather than bottom-up, where the people are represented.

Instead of federal meddling, we need liberty. We need representatives who listen to us rather than large law firms, trade groups and special privileged businesses.

Clayton Williams and OWS

Back when Clayton Williams ran for Governor in Texas in 1990 against Democrat Ann Richards, he made his famous quote about rape where he likened it to the bad weather in Texas. His comparison ended with “As long as it’s inevitable,” Williams was reported as saying, “you might as well lie back and enjoy it.” His comment ended up being a key reason he lost the election. Those same statements were resurrected in the 2008 election and considered “incredibly offensive”. Now within the occupy movement, the attitude toward rape is “rape happens”. There is little difference between the statement of Clayton Williams and the attitude of some OWS members, yet there is no outrage, or claims of being “incredibly offensive” to such attitudes leveled at the OWS bunch.

It is shameful how the hooligans involved with “Occupy Wall Street” or OWS have quickly spun out of any moral decency. This is NOT any way similar to the Sons of Liberty or the patriot movements of the founding of the Confederacy. These people do not have the support of the public behind them. They share more in common with socialist and communist movements than American liberty movements.

The hypocrisy behind the movement and those endorsing their socialist tactics is shameful. Although Nancy Pelosi has made the comment “God bless them”, I doubt that she would have said the same about Clayton Williams.

The OWS movement follows the tactics commonly used by socialist groups.

1) They create the impression that they are a majority, when clearly they are not
2) The glorify communist leaders such as Karl Marx, Che Guevarra, etc.
3) They advocate socialist ideas such as redistribution of wealth
4) They use art and music to make their message more palpable by appealing to the youth
5) They have the support and backing of unions such as SEIU

What is clear is that they are not conducting themselves in an honorable manner. They are using intimidation and mob tactics to bully people.

Instead of such socialist temper tantrums, we need statesmen and leaders. There are major problems in many areas, the biggest is a government that is too big. There are too many regulations on business, like we have seen with Gibson guitars. There are too many regulations on foods like cheese and milk, like we have seen with milk and cheese raids. There are too many regulations on schools. Schools could do a better job and deliver a better product without government regulations and heavy handed federal court rulings. There are too many unfunded federal mandates that are choking out capitol that could be spent on creating jobs.

The solution is NOT more government, it is less government.

Texas Schools Districts and bad role modeling

Some of the Texas school districts are doing what the liberal solution to many issues are ….taking it to court. With 30% of the districts suffering defeat at the polls, with voters saying NO to tax increases, some are opting to sue the State of Texas for funds. I guess they do not want to listen to the voters. The old saying, “What part of NO do you not understand?” comes into play. The districts do not understand “NO”. While many families are having to get used to the word, school districts and their bureaucratic heads do not understand the word.

This sets quite an example for students. If you don’t get what you want…SUE! Whatever happened to the Biblical injunctions about such matters? It seems that suing is not the accepted manner in which one is to solve problems and get their way. It would be one thing if there were damages, but suing to just get your way after the voters told you NO? The rationale is that districts did it ten years ago, so they can do it again. Well, consider that the Robin Hood plan pushed by Ann Richards has done tremendous damage to districts. It has raided many districts and “redistributed the wealth” to other districts. The plan was simple communism applied to funding schools. Now they are dealing with the fruits of such labors. Bear in mind that education I mean indoctrination, is not what it used to be. Consider that now, even teaching cursive handwriting is passe.

We need common sense in our schools, if they are to truly educate. We need teachers and leaders who are role models for good, rather than sue-happy persons who make their livelihoods through litigation. We need true problem-solvers

Dept of Justice wants to pursue social networks

You would think that the Department of Justice would have better things to do than to chase after people who report false weight on Match.com or have a second identity on Facebook. Apparently the priorities at the Department of Justice under Eric Holder chooses to chase down social network violators rather than Black Panthers who engage in voter intimidation. So apparently false information is more dangerous and threatening than bullying voters. This is the same department that Radical Muslims are demanding to make criticizing Islam (Mohammedism) a crime.

This latest news item is worth reading. According to the article, the DOJ wants more prosecutorial power in these areas since they “jeopardize prosecutions involving identity theft, misuse of government databases, and privacy invasions”. The statement about government databases was of particular interest. Since when is Facebook and match.com or any other social network site a ‘government database’? The comment by the Richard Downing, the Justice Department’s deputy computer crime chief may reveal more about their true motives behind the empire’s actions. He may have revealed more than he intended. Is it that the social networks are being used as the government’s database? If you are using a fictitious identity, whose identity is stolen? and whose privacy is invaded with such errors in reporting? Downings comment is very telling for anyone who can connect the dots on the empire and their actions.

The article goes on to state,

“The Justice Department claims to have an interest in enforcing Terms of Use and computer use policies under the CFAA, but its examples mostly consist of cases in which the conduct described has already been criminalized by statutes other than the CFAA.”

It is worth noting how the DOJ claims to ‘have an interest’. What is the DOJ’s legal standing in a relationship between the user and the social network. There is no room in such an arrangement for a government agent. The DOJ is stepping into that space and now wants to be the enforcer of such agreements. In other words, they want the role of ‘cyber cop’.

I also find the word ‘criminalize’ of interest. This is just the latest action where laws are used to create crimes where none existed before. This is just the latest “malum in re“, an act that is termed illegal based solely on the law, not on any social or religious morals. These acts are not wrong because they are evil, they are wrong because the empire has intentionally made them a crime.

The whole episode shows how messed up the justice department is in terms of priorities. I thought the Bush II regime’s Justice Department was out of whack by focusing on porn ahead of protecting the border. This regime is even more out to lunch. Instead of protecting us from boobs and prosecuting illegal boobs, now they let the illegals go, have the boobs enforce the law and turn us into the criminals.

If nothing else, the Obama regime provides lots of laughs.

We need common sense in laws. We need common sense in what the government focuses its attention. Instead of people who lie about their age, weight or have a fictitious avatar, we need people who protect the borders from criminal immigrants, enforce the laws according to the Constitution, and bust criminal politicians. In other words we need a government that respects the limits of the law rather than criminalizing social network activities.

Hank Williams Jr. was right!

Hank Williams Jr. was slammed by the media for comparing Obama to Hitler. The reality is that his comparison was correct. The Obama regime often uses double-speak, which is a term for Orwellian tactics of changing the meaning of words. Hitler did this in Nazi Germany and now the same tactics are being used in the United States. In the latest example, Obama wants the unconstitutional supercomittee to do the “responsible thing” and raise taxes. When I heard that, my head spun. He has changed the meaning of ‘responsible’. Rather than the common meaning of the word, which is associated with accountability, maturity and being responsive, he instead opt for the easy way out of fiscal accountability by raising more taxes. Responsibility is living within ones means, to become more frugal, to live within limits, while ‘irresponsibility’ is spending more, asking for more money and wasting what you have.

With his action, the head of the Obama regime has changed (or twisted) the meaning of the word ‘responsible’. He is telling the committee to be responsible, then he slips in his encouragement to raise taxes, which negates the ‘responsible’ part of it. By combining the two unlike terms, he twists the meaning, which the Nazi regime were experts at. This regime has done the same with the term ‘terrorists’, twisting it from being self-immolating Moloch worshipping islamic extremists to turning them into ‘freedom fighters’ who now run the nations of Libya, and Egypt, while the new definition of terrorist are white Americans who do not agree with the regime and the implementation of their policies of centralization and control. They want freedom rather than control, so they are now labelled as ‘terrorists’.

Hank was right. The regime twists and distorts words and labels. They do it often and they do it well. They do it so well, they sincerely believe that they are doing the ‘right’ thing by raising taxes, redistributing wealth, and reconstructing society into the image they want it to be. We in the South have been through this before. It was called Reconstruction. This is just the latest installment.

Instead of the word salad mixing of terms and their meanings, we need honest speaking, honest talking leaders, who mean what they say. Who are not afraid to speak plainly to the issues before them.

We need liberty!

Liberty in Healthcare choices

The Texas Medical Board is flexing its muscle again, this time attacking a physician that is helping people recover from their cancer. This is another situation where the public is not allowed freedom regarding healthcare decisions.

Instead of meddling agencies, we need freedom in our healthcare and healthcare choices.

DOJ continues meddling in Texas! This time in Lubbock

It is bad enough that the DOJ under Eric Holder of the Obama regime is meddling with Alabama’s crackdown on criminal immigrants, now he personally is sticking his nose in a trial in Lubbock. He is intervening to suppress key information in the case regarding Khalid Ali-Aldawsari. The accused, who is not a US citizen, is in Texas, being sponsored by Saudi company. Although the prosecution has claimed that Aldawsari is identified as an “agent of a foreign power”, no foreign power has been publicly released. He was caught making a chemical bomb in a central Lubbock apartment. Although the citizens of Lubbock and students at Texas Tech were at risk, Eric Holder is personally intervening to keep information from being disclosed publicly at the trial. His other targets, according to court records include the home of former President George W. Bush, hydro-electric dams and night clubs. He was no friend of Texas at all.

Since it is a criminal case in Texas, why not let Texas law and Texans take care of things? This is another case of meddling in local affairs rather than let locals take care of things. Better yet, why let such students, who pose a risk to be sponsored into Texas in the first place? Is not the empire complicit in allowing such a person be here anyway?

The defense wants access to the FISA records, which they are not allowed access to. I am wondering why he is receiving rights when he is not a citizen. Since he is a hostile visitor caught in a criminal act, it seems that matters need to be handled differently.

When the empire creates messes, via sponsorship and forcing such hostiles on us, it creates problems. The problems are made worse rather than better when the empire refuses to play by the rules is expects others to play by. The direct intervention by the Holder DOJ is another case of meddling. We need less meddling and more letting Texans take care of Texas, especially when Texans are at risk rather than let those who created the mess handle the mess.

More government=More problems. We need less federal government, we need less federal meddling.

DHS to monitor Social Media

Now Homeland Security (a misnomer if there ever was) is taking steps to monitor the social media networks like twitter for any signs of social unrest. The government think tank is now attempting to profile trouble-makers and identify patterns of social unrest.

This tells me that their investment with start up capitol in social network sites have not given them the kind of information they wanted. Since the government is not allowed to have such detailed networks themselves, they pay for others to do their dirty work in collecting personal information on the citizenry. Although the citizenry have generally complied with the requests, they now want MORE! (no surprise here).

Apparently the social unrest in Tunisia, Egypt and other locations have concerned them. Now that Occupy Wall Street is growing out of control and turning ugly, they are using the unrest to promote MORE government interventions. Never mind that the government had a big hand in Occupy Wall Street from the beginning and openly supports it. What remains to be seen is will those who support OWS pay for the damage inflicted on personal property and businesses. Bear in mind, that the colonists paid for all that tea they damaged in Boston harbor. Will Occupy Oakland pay the port, Whole Foods and other businesses they destroyed? There is a vast difference between vandals and patriots in their methods and behaviors. ‘By their fruits, ye shall know them’ makes it very clear what kind of fruits we are dealing with with the Occupy movement.
